Major Activities

The Department of Economics & Statistics is the nodal agency of the State responsible for the systematic collection, compilation, analysis, objective interpretation and dissemination of statistics relating to various sectors of Kerala Economy. This department is operating Plan Schemes, Non-Plan Schemes and Centrally Sponsored Schemes with 100% assistance.

  5. Index of Industrial Production
  6. Wholesale price indices of selected industrial products.
  7. Housing Statistics
  8. Labour Statistics
  9. Vital Statistics – Civil Registration System
  10. Sample Registration
  11. Wage Structure Survey
  12. Prices Statistics
  13. Economic Census
  14. Conduct of National Sample Survey on Socio Economic issued every year on matching sample basis
